Vorbei an der Po-Quelle, besichtige ich zun\u00e4chst den Buco di Viso. Ein Frankreich und Italien verbindender, ca. 75 m langer Tunnel am Monviso, der zwischen 1479 und 1480 erbaut wurde. Er gilt damit als der \u00e4lteste Tunnel der Alpen. Den ganzen Tag f\u00fchrt meine Tour entlang des Monvisos. Alle paar Minuten sind Felsabbr\u00fcche zu h\u00f6ren. Erst im letzten Jahr gab es einen riesigen Abbruch aus der Ostwand, der deutlich zu sehen ist. Das Rifugio Quintino Sella erreiche ich um die Mittagszeit. Sella war Wissenschaftler und leitete die Erstbesteigung des Monvisos. Er gilt als Begr\u00fcnder des italienischen Alpenvereins. Die Querung mehrerer Schneefelder bereitet keine Probleme. Der Abstieg f\u00fchrt durch den gr\u00f6\u00dften Arvenwald der Alpen, der hier auf 700 Hektar gedeiht. Ich nehme tolle Impressionen aus dem Naturpark Monviso mit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"484\"
